Wind was nicely around 20mph, so decided on the Synchro 115 and 6.3. Just about planing early in the session, but the wind picked up nicely after about 45 minutes and was well powered up by the end. Fantastic blasting conditions, and plenty of gybing practice allowing me to raise the percentage of planing gybes from my usual level. Very cold though. Alan was relishing the conditions as well. Andy turned up a bit later and managed to smash the nose of the battered old board I had given him (F2 Air 265) with a spectacular hooked in catapault in shallow water. He was off to B & Q to get some stuff to repair it with so he would be ready for sunday. Bring on sunday!
